Proof that Cathedral Veils are Swoony

Wednesday, January 13th, 2016

Every bridal accessory has impact, but when it comes to top-of-the-aisle gasps and first-look tears, a cathedral veil is number one on the list. We’re not saying all veils aren’t fabulous – because, really, the way a veil floats around a bride’s face is nothing short of spectacular – but if it’s jaw-dropping drama you want, go with a cathedral veil.

Add a little extra oomph to the gorgeous, sheer framing effect that a long veil offers by choosing one embellished to complement your gown. Lace edging, embroidery, beading, Swarovski crystals and monogramming all look amazing, and there’s nothing wrong with incorporating more than one finish. After all, if there ever was an occasion that called for an extra helping of fabulous, it’s your wedding day!

To see just how amazing a cathedral veil can be (and a sampling of the various ways to make yours unique), take a peek at our real brides below:

Five To-Die-For 2015 Wedding Dress Trends

Tuesday, October 21st, 2014

NYC Bridal Week showed lots of new gorgeousness and fabulous bridal gown trends for the 2015 wedding season. All we have to say, ladies, is that you’re in for a treat! So many fabulous looks we know our brides will adore and that will be incredibly fun to pair with our stunning accessories.

Whether in the form of beading, lace, fabric or all three, it looks like 2015 is going to be the year of texture, but beyond that there were five trends that really got our hearts pounding.

Crop Top and Cut Out Wedding Dresses

Modern, edgy and perfect for our fashionista brides, gowns that showed some skin were all over the runways.

Illusion tops were everywhere we looked, which is a wonderful thing! Not only is this detail heart-stoppingly romantic, it’s also very sophisticated…something Bridal Styles brides love.

Layered Skirts

Made of ethereal, floating fabrics like organza and tulle, dramatic and swirly layered skirts were working almost every designer’s catwalk. The best thing is how they look when they move – breathtaking!

We know our brides like to make an entrance and an exit, and a backless gown is one way to do that. Some of the designs we saw were more revealing than others, but one thing is for sure, this style is a stunner.
