We love the bridal trends that are developing for 2014. Long sleeves, color, vintage glamour, fun silhouettes for a second or even third dress, gold, bling (our favorite!), sexy backs, and lace are all such fun, fresh elements for any bride-to-be to incorporate into her wedding day look.

Over the next few weeks, we’ll break down our favorite looks by trend, but we couldn’t wait to share a few of 2014’s gorgeous wedding gowns with our wonderful, fashionable brides!

Spring 2012 Bridal Trends

Tuesday, November 8th, 2011

Two times a year, couture bridal gown and accessory designers gather in New York for the wedding version of Fashion Week. New York Bridal Market is always an event we look forward to, and Spring 2012 Market was worth the anticipation! We’re very excited to pair the Bridal Styles 2012 collection with all of these stunning gowns.

Overall, we noticed a few trends everywhere we looked. Expect the following bridal design elements to appear soon walking down an aisle near you!

Layered Skirts:

Soft and romantic, skirts with layers had everyone sighing.

Sleeves:

We owe Catherine and her royal wedding gown a huge thank you. Classic, demure, sophisticated sleeves graced almost every runway.

Reem Gaga?

Tuesday, November 30th, 2010

Twice a year we create a new collection for the upcoming season.  We meet and work with some of the top and most talented bridal accessory designers from the US and abroad. We are always searching  for  unique and unusual pieces as well as classic and traditional pieces and when we can’t find it….we design it and have it made.

One of the places we look for inspiration is from the very talented gown designers.  This year it seemed that we were not the only ones trying to create something “different”… at the Reem Acra show, all her gowns were, of course, stunning, but it was her hair accessories and hats that caught our eye and made us think Miss Gaga had something to do with it!

It seems that Lady Gaga’s influence and her unusual style has had an effect on the bridal fashion! Would you be brave enough to wear bunny ears going down the aisle at your wedding? Maybe a little too different…What do you think?
