“At last, the skies above are blue. My heart was wrapped up in clover, the night I looked at you.” – Etta James
Chance brought Meghan and Jason together. When their eyes met, sparks flew and, before long, love bloomed.
“One night I went out with some friends and met Jason at a place called City Bistro. As he was leaving, I happened to be heading to the bathroom and we crossed paths on the stairs. Since then we’ve been inseparable. I knew Jason was the one from the moment I met him. He was different than anyone I had ever met. Not only was he kind and honest, I admired his work ethic and devotion to his family and friends.”

That sweet moment on the stairs was echoed the night Jason proposed…but this time it was with a much more romantic Paris view!
“Jason and I went to France for a summer vacation, and on the first night that he took me to the Eiffel Tower and proposed! I felt like I was dreaming. Hundreds of people cheered as I bent down to embrace Jason’s face with a kiss, and said YES! Needless to say the rest of our trip was nothing short of amazing.”

With lots of help from family and friends, Meghan and Jason spent the next 18 months planning their timeless Art Deco era-inspired wedding.
“I knew I wanted a classy, Great Gatsby look; dark red roses, gold decor, black bridesmaids dresses, and all the groomsmen in black tuxedos with suspenders and bow ties. Jason also wore a tuxedo, but his jacket was ivory.
As for me, I wanted my gown to be simple but elegant. I chose an ivory lace and beaded trumpet style gown by Maggie Sottero. The minute I put my dress on I knew it was the ‘one.’ I purchased the dress from Russells Bridal in Linden, New Jersey, and they were wonderful.”

Nothing says 1920s like fabulous, glamorous accessories, and Meghan knew exactly where to go to find the perfect finishing touches for her wedding day look.
“I knew I HAD to go to Bridal Styles Boutique! From the moment I walked through their doors I was greeted and offered the utmost service. It was hard for me to choose my accessories because they were all so stunning! The staff worked with me to make a customized Swarovski necklace and head piece. We spent a great deal of time working together to make sure my accessories were exactly what I wanted. I cannot say enough about the amazing staff at Bridal Styles. The look on my face when I saw both accessories completed for the first time was priceless. They were like nothing I had ever seen. The necklace and headpiece accessorized my gown and veil perfectly! When I put them both on they truly made a statement.“

When their day arrived, these two lovebirds couldn’t wait to become husband and wife and, as it always is for two people head-over-heels in love, every moment was perfection.
“Our wedding day was honestly the most incredible day of my life. Every detail came together exactly how I envisioned. I couldn’t have dreamed of a more perfect wedding day. Eric and Mike from Sound Explosion DJ’s who kept our dance floor packed all night long. Our videographer was Wayne from Emerald Studios in Staten Island, and our photographers were Matthew and Chris from The Artist Group. They were all professional, accommodating, friendly and wonderful to work with!
So many married couples told Jason and I to enjoy every second and we truly did! There wasn’t one minute of our day that I would change. My advice to any bride-to-be is to take in every moment. The day goes by so fast and it is crucial to
embrace all of your beautiful family, friends, and details. To know that so many of your guest are there to support you and your husband as you enter this exciting new chapter is a wonderful feeling! After all your hard work it is so important to enjoy it!“
